As the year ends, I’ve compiled pictures of some of my favorite moments, meals and adventures to help commemorate 2012. From trips to Washington D.C. to summer music festivals, from completing my first half marathon to covering President Obama’s campaign from Des Moines, this year has brought some pretty incredible experiences.
Though I’ve generally stopped trying to come up with – and commit to – New Year’s resolutions, I’ve come up with a few goals and to-do’s for 2013:
- With the new year comes a lot of unknowns – graduation, a new job, possibly a new city – but much as I may resist, I’ll try hard to embrace change.
- Keep running – sometimes there’s nothing more calming than simply putting one foot in front of the other.
- Despite inevitable stress, busyness and uncertainty, don’t stop blogging.
- But most importantly, always keep looking for the next adventure.
Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you for a truly wonderful 2012.
