Generally I don’t care where we head for a bite to eat in the summer—that is, as long as there’s a patio. So when I heard about the Court Avenue District’s latest addition—The Levee on Court—which is a patio-only bar and eatery, I knew I would need to make a trip.
Although the venue bills itself as having a nautical theme, the decor and atmosphere are much more akin to a backyard barbecue than an oceanside eatery.
Restaurant theme aside, The Levee’s signature food item the “Potacho”–potato chip nachos, you guys…genius–is reason enough for a visit. Complete with punny menu description (“one potacho, two potacho, three potacho, four…), all four varieties sound delicious. I went with the avocado and bacon topped version–because why not–and absolutely loved them. The salty margarita served in a ceramic red Solo cup replica wasn’t too shabby either.
