Despite our “extra” hour from Daylight Savings Time, lately it seems like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything squared away. This weekend I’ll be attempting to relax—and hopefully hit up a few roadside attractions—with a trip to Minneapolis to see some old friends. In the meantime, here are my favorite bits of Internet from this week:
This incredible backpack designed for poor kids in Africa does so much more than just carry books.
I can only describe my reaction to this post as a gut check. Yes. All of the yes. “Fear is the most boring thing about you. Fear only ever tells you one thing: STOP. Whereas creativity, courage and inspiration only ever want you to GO.”
Thank you, Hannah Brencher, for these beautiful words. “You. Don’t. Get. To. Do. This. Again. Really and truly. We don’t get to plan things. We don’t get to say when the time is up. And we wait too long to get brave. We wait too long to gather up the threads of our lives and just call them all gold. Because that’s what you have in your hands right now. You are carrying gold. Your struggles. Your insecurities. Your hopes. Your ambitions. The fire that sits inside of you and burns so hot and you think that no one understands it. But I do. I do understand that feeling.”

I’m beyond excited for A Beautiful Mess’ new stationary subscription service.
