Though I was born and raised in the Midwest, both of my parents hail from the East Coast. Meaning that though I love a good slice of deep dish pizza, there’s times when I absolutely crave seafood. So a few weeks ago when my family visited Connecticut, one of my only requests was a hot, buttered lobster roll.
We celebrated my grandmother’s birthday at Lenny & Joe’s Fish Tale in Westbrook, where I’m pretty sure I inhaled my buttery lobster and flaky roll faster than I’ve ever consumed something in my entire life. Plus I took the liberty to taste the clam chowder, scallops and calamari my family members had ordered as well.
