Happy holidays and (almost) new year! It’s been awhile since my last big road trip and lately I’ve been itching for a new adventure. So when our year-end days off created a serendipitous four-day weekend, I knew it was time to plan another cross-country trip.
That means that later this week, I’ll be heading south to ring in 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee before continuing on to celebrate my 25th birthday in New Orleans! I can’t wait for all of the exploring and, let’s be honest, eating that we’re going to do during our four days in the Big Easy.
Follow along on Instagram to see where we stop along the way and stay tuned for lots of new posts about the outlandish attractions and fabulous food we encounter during our trip. You can also explore our trip via Roadtrippers (below) and see some of the places we’re excited to visit on our multi-day drive south.
