This month has been a whirlwind of travel, stress and holiday preparations. So now that I finally have a week or so off of work, I’m taking some time to decompress and spend time doing things I truly enjoy. One of those has been kicking back and spending some quality time with my most recent obsession—BBC’s “Sherlock,” which (thankfully) returns next Wednesday. I also haven’t stopped playing Beyoncé’s newest album (and its ridiculous amount of music videos) since it dropped a few weeks ago.
I’ve also been making a bit more of an effort to unplug during my time off and—thanks to a new book I was gifted for Christmas—I’ve been attempting to expand my knitting skill set. I’ve been mildly obsessed ever since a friend and I took a beginning knitting class at East Village’s Hill Vintage earlier this fall. So far I haven’t progressed past scarves but I’m hoping to tackle a headband or two in the near future.
