If you visit Casey, you won’t want to miss a visit to the Greathouse of Pizza. This family-owned restaurant has what some claim to be the “Best Pie South of Chicago” and, if I’m honest, they just might be right.

Snap a photo with the Big Pizza Slicer (which the owners hope to have certified as the “world’s largest”) before dining in or grabbing a pie to go. Whether you opt for deep dish or thin crust, the Greathouse of Pizza has tons of traditional and innovative options for diners to enjoy.

During our visit, we opted for the garlic knots, which came delightfully smothered in garlic, and a thin crust version of the Wise Guy, a savory mixture of meatballs, marinara sauce, capocolla, garlic, ricotta and fresh basil.
